  • Next to YouTube, tap the trash can.
  • Enter your Google password when prompted and tap Next.
  • Tap I want to hide my content.

  • Tap Hide my content.

Step-by-Step Guide to Delete your YouTube Account

You have the option to totally erase your YouTube channel. It is not possible to undo this. If you choose to do this, all of your videos, comments, messages, playlists and watch history will be removed.

After the deletion of the YouTube channel, the data associated with the channel, such as watch time, will still be part of aggregate reports, but will not be attributed to the deleted channel. Apart from this, the channel URL and channel name will no longer be visible or searchable in YouTube Analytics.
